I am a lover of flawless skin and hate to find the odd spot of blemish here and there. I use a lot of products for skin care which I will be sharing in a separate post however, today I will be going through some natural home remedies you can use for flawless skin apart from the obvious drinking water daily and having a healthy balanced diet.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera has many benefits for your skin. It has many antibacterial properties that help kill the bacteria that causes acne, anti-inflammatory properties that soothe irritated skin as well as astringent properties that help heal scarring. It is a moisturiser of the skin which also helps to stimulate new skin cell growth.

It helps to have an aloe vera plant so it's easily accessible as well as being raw in its form. When applying aloe vera to my skin this is what I do.

  • Extract the gel from an aloe vera leaf that you have picked off of your plant

  • Apply the gel on your face using a cotton ball.

  • Allow it to dry on its own for about half an hour, and then rinse it off with lukewarm water.

  • Follow this remedy daily or several times per week.

  •

This really works and is really beneficial to the skin. Let me know what you think about this and how it works for you.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is naturally antibacterial, antifungal and moisturising. Rub the oil in circular motion all over your face and neck giving yourself a massage and when you are done, wash off the residue with your favourite cleanser. You can do this daily to help improve your skin and make it flawless. Keep away chapped, flaky lips from coconut oil. Apply the coconut oil in a circular motion to lightly exfoliate your lips. Let the mixture sit on your mouth for a minute and then remove with a damp cloth.

You can use coconut oil for added moisture and shine after exfoliating your lips also.

Lemon

Lemon works good for hyperpigmentation. It works wonders for dark, black spots, freckles and liver spots most importantly stubborn blackheads that can be a pain in the ass. In order to see the benefits of the lemon this is what you need to do.

squeeze out the juice from a lemon. Take a cotton ball and apply it on your face. Let it Sit for an hour and wash it with lukewarm water after that. Doing this on a daily basis helps lighten up the scars and marks on your skin.

Honey lends a glow to your skin and makes it flawless with time. It is rich in nutrients, healthy fats, and antioxidants that will protect the skin against oxidative and environmental damage. This keeps the skin supple, soft, and flawless. It's anti-inflammatory properties can calm down redness and irritation. It contains antibacterial properties so it is perfect for treating and preventing acne. It is a good complexion boost also giving you that glow that you are wanting.

You mix some honey with a few tablespoons of cinnamon and apply to the face. Leave it to sit for around 15 mins before you wash off with lukewarm water. This will help give you that flawless and healthy skin.

Turmeric

Turmeric is an amazing antiseptic and skin lightening agent that helps to minimise your scars and other marks. It alleviates allergic , inflammatory and infectious skin disorders that make your skin look dull and in need of some TLC.

You can mix one tablespoon of turmeric with some pineapple juice to make a paste. Apply the paste to your face and neck. Leave until the paste has dried completely before you wash it off with lukewarm water. You can follow this remedy 2-3 times a week in order to see long term results and reduce the appearance of spots and marks on the skin.

These are a few natural things that you can do at home to improve your skin. Let me know what you think about this post.
